Caldwell, Morrison & Carruthers Diaspora

While the surviving records do not identify every relationship within this settlement, they clearly demonstrate that these families lived side by side during the formative years of Pennsylvania's frontier. Their close geographic association provides an important foundation for tracing the later migration of interconnected families into North Carolina and eventually Tennessee through the FAN principle (Friends, Associates, and Neighbors) used by historians and genealogists.
